About Us
With the power of technology, we're breaking barriers and reconnecting Afghan women to the global job market.

Why We Exist?
SheConnects was born from both urgency and belief—urgency, because millions of Afghan women had their livelihoods stripped away under the Taliban; belief, because their skills, experience, and voices still matter deeply in the global economy.
Founded by Abdul Kamyar and Sediqa Sharifi, SheConnects began as a simple idea: use technology to fight back against oppression by reconnecting women to meaningful, remote work.
We’re not just placing virtual assistants.
We’re restoring incomes. Rebuilding futures. Reclaiming dignity.
Our Mission
Business for Human Rights
Millions of Afghan women—professionals, providers, and pillars of their families—lost their right to work overnight under the Taliban regime. At SheConnects, we reclaim that right. Through technology, we empower them to rejoin the workforce as skilled virtual assistants—transforming lost potential into global opportunity, and connecting their talent with businesses in Europe.
